Each bowl is handcrafted with a sturdy feel and finished with a glaze that withstands everyday use. The handmade and hand-painted design gives each plate an individual appearance, with subtle variations in color and texture. "Decori de Rigio" - adorned with stripes. This classic, bistro-inspired series is hand-painted with four blue lines running around the edge, giving each plate a subtle yet eye-catching accent.The blue contrasting stripes add something to the otherwise simple, sturdy ceramics, creating a nice frame for the setting, providing a delightful bistro feel. The series is suitable for both everyday use and special occasions.
The stripes are painted by placing the ceramics on a rotating plate, controlled by a foot pedal, where light brushstrokes create the delicate stripes while the plate rotates. Each plate is unique, with each brushstroke adding a personal touch and creating variations in the design.
The earthenware is dishwasher safe at lower temperatures, but handwashing is recommended to extend the plate’s lifespan and preserve its original finish.
