Deep plate made of earthenware from the Italian brand Nicola Fasano. This versatile plate is perfect for both everyday use and special occasions, and works wonderfully for everything from breakfast porridge and pasta to soup, risotto, or as a bowl for sauces and dips. Each plate is handmade with a robust feel and features a glaze that withstands the demands of daily use. The hand-painted design gives each piece a unique appearance, with subtle variations in color and texture, where small imperfections are a natural part of traditional craftsmanship."Il Mare," which means "the sea" in Italian, describes this deep blue porcelain series. The porcelain is hand-painted with a so-called splatter pattern, where the blue color is randomly splashed onto the ceramic to create a unique and individual character. In the Il Mare series, a lot of color has been used to almost entirely cover the white base, which still shines through the splashes, creating an exciting character.
Blue is an incredibly versatile color that can easily be combined with both vibrant and muted shades. We love to combine Il Mare with the Papa Giro and Scatole series, where the blue color creates a common thread in the table setting, while the different patterns add playfulness.
Earthenware is dishwasher-safe at lower temperatures, but hand washing is recommended to preserve the item’s original finish and extend its lifespan.

Il Mare Collection
”Il Mare”, vilket betyder ”havet” på italienska, beskriver denna djupblåa serie porslin. Porslinet handmålas med ett så kallat stänkmönster, där den blåa färgen slumpmässigt stänks på keramiken för att skapa en unik och individuell karaktär.
I serien Il Mare har mycket färg använts för att nästan helt täcka den vita botten, som ändå lyser igenom stänket och skapar en spännande karaktär.
Blått är en oerhört tacksam färg som enkelt kan kombineras med både livliga och nedtonade kulörer. Vi älskar att kombinera Il Mare med serierna Papa Girio och Scatole, där den blåa färgen skapar en röd tråd i dukningen samtidigt som de olika mönstren tillför lekfullhet.
