Butter Dish Carnation

Hand-painted stoneware butter dish from Ceramika Artystyczna in Bolesławiec, Poland. An oblong dish with a domed lid and a small knob to lift it by. The Carnation pattern is painted by hand as red flowers on green stems, so every dish is unique. The lid keeps the butter covered between meals.
