Olive wood is ideal to use in kitchen utensils because it is both hard and rich in natural fat. The spatula smells lovely and can, after a period of use, be oiled with paraffin or olive oil to regain a darker luster, but handwash is recommended.

The ladles work just as well to use as salad cutlery or to serve bolognese.
