Risotto Spoon

Ladle of olive wood with centered hole and a pointed corner. Olive woods have a great variety of grain and shape, giving each item a unique look. Harvested after the olive tree has stopped bearing fruit.

Olive wood is ideal to use in kitchen utensils because it is both hard and rich in natural fat. The spatula smells lovely and can, after a period of use, be oiled with paraffin or olive oil to regain a darker luster, but handwash is recommended.

Italian risotto spoons work just as well to use as salad cutlery.

Some variation in pattern and color occurs.
