Carpet No.6 from Cappelen Dimyr is a decorative carpet that can be hung on the wall or used as a floor mat.

Its shape, like a triumphal arch, together with the soft contrast between dark gray and sand beige, creates an eclectic and bold statement-piece. The long fringing edge adds an artistic detail. The rug is hand-knotted from 100% natural, unbleached wool.

Each rug is unique, and slight variations in color and details may occur as a result of the handmade manufacture.

Cappelen Dimyr uses only natural fibers, such as untreated linen and wool, in an effort to create products with minimal negative impact on the environment. Each individual part of the rug is handmade, washed with natural soap and dried in the sun. No chemicals are used during any stage of production. All products from Cappelen Dimyr are certified according to Good Weave Certification and Care & Fair.

Care advice & Washing advice

The carpet partly has a long pile which usually has an initial tendency to shed fibres. We therefore recommend vacuuming the carpet often to reduce this. Precipitation will decrease over time.

To remove stains, use only a small amount of warm water or, for more stubborn stains, a small amount of soap. Wool contains natural fats that help prevent stains from penetrating the fibers. For a more thorough cleaning, dry cleaning is recommended.
