Rug No.31 from Cappelen Dimyr is handwoven in natural jute with sculpted tulip motifs in cream white wool. The warm, earthy base is softly contrasted by the florals, which emerge gently from the surface almost like impressions – subtle, organic and quietly expressive.

As light moves across the rug, the raised wool details catch and shift, revealing the craftsmanship in each element. Finished with a delicate fringe, it brings a grounded, bohemian elegance to a space – balancing artisanal character with refined simplicity.

Each rug is unique, and slight variations in color and details may occur as a result of the handmade manufacture.

Cappelen Dimyr uses only natural fibers, such as untreated linen and wool, in an effort to create products with minimal negative impact on the environment. Each individual part of the rug is handmade, washed with natural soap and dried in the sun. No chemicals are used during any stage of production. All products from Cappelen Dimyr are certified according to Good Weave Certification and Care & Fair.

Care & washing advice

To remove stains, use only a small amount of warm water or, for more stubborn stains, a small amount of soap. For a more thorough cleaning, dry cleaning is recommended.
