Carpet No.21 from Cappelen Dimyr is a decorative hand-knotted carpet with emphasized details. The design is based on the bestseller Matta No.10, now available as a limited edition in a new shade. The heavy and compact rug is made from luxurious and thick short-pile wool with bold and curly hand-spun slub yarns that provide an interesting visual effect and texture along the edges.

The rug is woven in natural and unbleached wool. An iconic piece to keep and love for a lifetime.

Each rug is unique, and slight variations in color and details may occur as a result of the handmade manufacture.

Cappelen Dimyr uses only natural fibers, such as untreated linen and wool, in an effort to create products with minimal negative impact on the environment. Each individual part of the rug is handmade, washed with natural soap and dried in the sun. No chemicals are used during any stage of production. All products from Cappelen Dimyr are certified according to Good Weave Certification and Care & Fair.

Care advice & Washing advice

The carpet partly has a long pile which usually has an initial tendency to shed fibres. We therefore recommend vacuuming the carpet often to reduce this. Precipitation will decrease over time.

To remove stains, use only a small amount of warm water or, for more stubborn stains, a small amount of soap. Wool contains natural fats that help prevent stains from penetrating the fibers. For a more thorough cleaning, dry cleaning is recommended.
