History
Since the 17^th century, knife making has been a tradition in Solsona, northern Spain. The company Pallarès was founded in 1917 but has been the last remaining legacy of famous knife makers in Solsona since the '90s. Brothers Lluís and Carles Pallarès Canal quickly became known for their happy mood and sharp knives. From the 1960s, until the third generation took over in the early 21^st century, the company was run by Lluí's children, Jesús and Juli Pallarès Moncunill.
