Pendant Lamp Collection
The Ampio pendant carries the same hand-sewn shade as our table lamps, now hanging from a braided textile cord. Simple in shape, tactile in fabric – and as much at home above the dining table as in the hallway.
Each shade is made by hand in a studio outside Eskilstuna, where lampshades have been made since the 1940s and the craft has passed from one generation to the next.
The fabric is called Torno and comes from Swedish Astrid Textiles: a jacquard-woven bouclé of wool and linen on a linen warp, where the tightly twisted mohair forms small loops in the weave. The cord is braided textile in white or brown, and a bulb with an E27 socket is included.

About the shade
The shade is sewn by hand in a studio outside Eskilstuna. The fabric is woven in Italy and comes from Swedish Astrid Textiles – a wool and linen bouclé with a subtle retro feel, where no two shades catch the light in quite the same way.

Cord and installation
The pendant hangs from a braided textile cord, chosen in white or brown to sit quietly against the ceiling. The cord can be shortened by an electrician when the lamp is installed.
